Marriage is the first significant commitment in a person’s life, but eventually it is merely one of many. As you grow older, your life becomes a process of balancing and blending all your various commitments, so that the resulting collage truly represents your self.

I bring this balance to every ceremony I perform. I am a Navy veteran, a husband of 10 years, a father of 3, a sports coach, a professional, and an active member of my community.

For more than 12 years, my family has owned and operated a Wedding Chapel that was built (by hand!) as a labor of love by my father for my mother for their thirtieth wedding anniversary, on their 7-acre private country estate near Chicago.  We have had the honor of sharing in literally hundreds of wedding ceremonies, ranging from traditional to modern, and from purely Christian to drawing on the wedding traditions and rituals of beliefs from around the world.

These experiences enable me to work with couples to create truly expressive ceremonies that reflect the priorities, perspectives and love they share.
